FALL 2017 TUESDAY NIGHT “HACKERS & HURLERS”
This program is designed for the serious ballplayer looking for an avenue to develop his skills and continue his training during the week. With the majority of travel programs training and playing on the weekends, the coaching staff at Saint Francis is offering a program that allows players to develop their hitting stroke and pitching mechanics throughout the spring. Each session will include individual instruction from top-notch instructors and a variety of drill work. During the “Hackers” session, hitters will be rotated through hitting stations and receive a magnitude of swings in a short amount of time. During the “Hurlers” session, pitchers will be taken through a long-toss throwing program, throw bullpens and work on fielding their position and controlling the running game. “Hackers & Hurlers” is a great program to keep your swing in shape and fine tune the players pitching mechanics during the off-season.
Program is open to all players in grades 6-8. Participants will receive a Saint Francis Baseball T-Shirt. Players will need to provide their own baseball equipment (bat, glove, helmet, catchers gear). Batting gloves and athletic shoes are recommended.
