The National Letter of Intent (NLI) is a binding agreement with a prospective student-athlete and a NCAA NLI member institution. The student-athlete agrees to attend the institution full-time for one academic year. In turn the member institution agrees to provide athletic financial aid (scholarship) for one academic year.
