Strength of America Award

Colorado Springs, CO - The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition are proud to announce Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, CA as a 2017 Strength of America award recipient. This award recognizes Saint Francis High School to have represented the gold standard in strength and conditioning programs.

Led by Coach Wun to improve his school’s curriculum, Saint Francis High School was measured in four major categories: Supervision, Education, Program, and Facilities. Selected from hundreds of eligible schools, Saint Francis High School will be honored during the NSCA’s National Conference Awards Banquet, July 14, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The NSCA and the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition are working together to provide all high schools concise guidelines. “I am proud to have Saint Francis High School be part of our ongoing mission to improve the education and programs for all our youth,” says Coach Scott Caulfield, the NSCA’s Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Coach Wun states, “It is a great honor to have Saint Francis High School recognized for having an elite high school strength and conditioning program. I am very proud to be a part of a successful program that helps to raise the standards of strength and conditioning at the high school level.”
